Nagaland: Beisumpui YO celebrates golden jubilee

DIMAPUR

Beisumpui Youth Organisation celebrated its Golden Jubilee (1976–2026) on January 14 at Beisumpui village under the banner “Always for the Best,” with Namri Nchang, MLA of 6th Tening Assembly Constituency, as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Namri reflected on the journey of Beisumpui over the past 50 years, describing it as a beautiful story of strength and purpose. He encouraged citizens to seek God first and stand for truth, assuring that divine blessings would follow.
He expressed hope that the milestone would unlock greater joy and blessings in the decades to come, and prayed for continued grace, wisdom, good health and abundance for the community.
Highlighting governance, Nchang said that under the dynamic leadership of chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, the state government was delivering good governance, legitimacy and economic stability. He added that effective service policies such as social safety were contributing to long-term growth and aligning development with public needs.
Earlier, Irangtalakpe and Changlakpe, chairmen of Old Beisumpui and Beisumpui respectively, delivered short speeches, praising God for His blessings. The 50-year Golden Jubilee Souvenir was released by the special guest.
A cultural dance was presented by the Women Society of Old Beisumpui. The programme was compered by Deichungbe and Keyilungle.
