A one-day PM Vishwakarma Marketing and Entrepreneurship Orientation Workshop was held at the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima, aimed at creating awareness among artisans and entrepreneurs about government schemes, marketing strategies, financial literacy, and business formalisation.
The first session, delivered by inspector of industries, DIC Kohima, Pezalhoulie Kets, focused on central and state support schemes for MSMEs. Vilalhounuo Solo, from NSRLM, highlighted the importance of branding, advertising, and packaging in enhancing market visibility. Senior consultant, EY, Rahul Sahani, explained the benefits of onboarding PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries on Udyam registration and QR code integration for business expansion.
The final session, led by senior branch manager, Punjab National Bank, Thangchinmuan Hangzo, provided practical insights on banking procedures, credit facilities, and financial discipline.
