Nagaland: Ramlia sworn in as Upa-Lokayukta

DIMAPUR, JAN 16 (NPN)

Former state information commissioner Nagaland and retired district & sessions judge, GH Ramlia, was sworn in as the Upa-Lokayukta of Nagaland at a formal ceremony held on January 16, 2026.
According to a DIPR report, the oath of office was administered by state chief secretary, Sentiyanger Imchen, in the secretariat conference hall, Nagaland civil secretariat, Kohima.
The formal proceeding of the swearing in ceremony was initiated by home commissioner, Abhijit Sinha. Senior government officials and invited dignitaries attended the oath-taking ceremony.
