The rally, which is scheduled to cover all seven northeastern states, was initially flagged off from Kolkata on January 4.

Addressing the gathering, Biswadeep Gupta, managing trustee of the KRC Foundation and team leader of NEIR, delivered the keynote address.
Gupta elaborated on the objectives of the rally, stating that the initiative seeks to foster greater social harmony, cultural understanding, and unity among the diverse communities of the Northeast.
He spoke on the importance of people-to-people contact and cultural exchange in strengthening regional integration.
The programme at NEZCC also featured cultural presentations reflecting the rich traditions of Nagaland, underscoring the rally’s message of unity in diversity.
