Union Budget 2026-27 to be tabled on Feb 1

India’s Union Budget for 2026-27 will be presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament on February 1, marking the first time the annual budget will be tabled on a Sunday.
The Budget Session will begin on January 28, 2026, with the President’s address to both Houses. This will be followed by the presentation of the Economic Survey on January 30, outlining the state of the economy and key policy challenges.
The session will be held in two phases and will continue until April 2, 2026.
