Puisa Kotha Hunibo? Fast, modern, but complex

I visited a bank recently to fix a mismatch while linking bank account with phone number, card, and internet banking. It struck me how complex the processes can get. One check led to another. Details had to align. A small mismatch quickly turned into a chain of steps. It also made me think how much harder this must be for those who aren’t up to date with today’s digital banking systems.
We often celebrate digital banking and rightly so. It’s faster, more efficient, and a massive upgrade from what banking once looked like.
New apps, new features, new integrations. Banks are constantly innovating. At times, it even feels like a competition. Who can launch the next feature first.
The competition is welcome. Progress is welcome. But the real question is who is expected to keep up.
It’s Us. The users.
Digital systems reward those who evolve alongside them. If you don’t, the cost isn’t money. It’s time, energy, and mental fatigue.
This gap hits hardest for people who aren’t constantly updating and adapting. Missing the train is easy. Catching up later is exhausting. And the wider the gap, the more complex the catching up becomes.
This isn’t a criticism of technology. Digitisation is necessary and largely beneficial. But it also comes with a responsibility on systems, institutions, and individuals to recognise that not everyone moves at the same pace.
At this point, staying financially updated isn’t optional. Not because it’s trendy or impressive, but because catching up later is far more tedious than staying in tune gradually.
That’s also why simple, community-driven conversations matter. Talking about new updates, new features, new scams, and new financial instruments can make staying updated feel less overwhelming.
This belief shapes what we’re building at Moneybar. Learning through stories, experiences, and conversations that make catching up feel a little more effortless. Don’t be left behind, download the app and sign up!
If not through devices or banks, let’s at least keep up through conversations.
