Nagaland: Parakram Diwas 2026 Observed in Kma

DIMAPUR

North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, in collaboration with the Department of Art & Culture, Nagaland, observed Parakram Diwas 2026 on the occasion of the 129th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the State Academy Hall, Kohima, on January 23.
Speaking as guest of honour, advisor of CAWD & Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, described Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as a true patriot and visionary leader.
He said Netaji’s courage, charisma and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom more than 80 years ago continue to inspire the nation today.
Khamo added that Netaji’s vision for unity and sacrifice ignited patriotism, inspiring thousands to join the Indian National Army in the struggle for independence.
Dr. Er. Vekho Swuro, representative of INA & Netaji Trust, also addressed the gathering. Earlier, Bodeno S. Colo, secretary, Art & Culture, delivered the welcome address, while Adela Moa, director, Art & Culture, proposed the vote of thanks.
The event featured cultural performances by Khriekesa Kro (Angami), Tesophenyu Students Union (Rengma), Kuzhami Cultural Society (Chakhesang) and Rhythm Music Centre, Dimapur (Bengali cultural troupe).
