Nagaland to compete in 60th National Cross Country C’ships

DIMAPUR, JAN 23 (NPN)

Nagaland will participate in the 60th National Cross Country Championships 2026, scheduled to be held on January 24 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The state contingent will be led by Moalong Jamir, who will serve as the team coach-cum-manager.
The athletes representing Nagaland were selected based on their merit and performances during the Nagaland Cross Country Championships 2025, where they showcased promising potential.
Participating athletes are Wede Tmero, Nahtei N. Wangnao (Senior men); Chongsop P. – Under-18 Boys (4 km); Supie – Under-16 Girls (2 km).
The Nagaland Athletics Association has extended its best wishes to the athletes, expressing confidence that they will deliver a strong performance at the national championship.
