Nagaland: CNTC, SH discuss issues confronting Naga society

DIMAPUR, JAN 27 (NPN)

Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) and the Sümi Hoho (SH) during a coordination meeting held at Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto on January 27 deliberated on various issues confronting Naga society.
Sümi Hoho through its media cell informed that both sides discussed the positive and constructive role that CNTC could play in fostering unity, understanding, and social harmony among the Nagas.
Further, the meeting emphasized that the existence and functioning of CNTC should contribute meaningfully to the welfare and progress of the entire Nagaland society.
SH and CNTC reaffirmed commitment to strengthening coordination and cooperation for the larger interest of the people.
During the meeting, Sümi Hoho agreed the proposal of CNTC officials to host Central Nagaland Tribes Council general conference in the month of April.
CNTC delegation was led by its president, Khondao Ngully, while SH was led by its president, Dr. Vihuto Asumi.
