Nagaland: NIT flagged off from Tsg under Op Sadbhavna

DIMAPUR

The National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavna for the year 2025–26 was formally flagged off from Tuensang to Jorhat, Delhi, Agra and back on January 27, reaffirming the commitment towards fostering national unity and cultural integration among citizens from remote and border areas.
The tour team comprises twenty elderly civilians, including fifteen male and five female participants, accompanied by requisite administrative staff.
During the programme, participants will visit Kaziranga National Park, followed by exposure visits to Delhi and Agra. These locations have been carefully chosen to provide opportunities to experience India’s rich natural heritage, historical landmarks, cultural diversity and important national institutions.
Designed to broaden horizons, strengthen mutual understanding and instil a deeper sense of national pride, the tour reflects Assam Rifles’ enduring role in nation-building and community outreach. Upon completion of the scheduled programme, the team will return to their home station.
