Kerala, Ladakh students to visit Nagaland University Medziphema

DIMAPUR

As part of the Ashtalakshmi Darshan Youth Exchange Programme, 40 student delegates from Kerala and Ladakh will be visiting Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus from February 1 to 14, 2026. The Ladakh team will be led by Dr. Rinchen Dolma and Sonam Gytso, while the Kerala team will be headed by Aju TG and Dr. Garima Gupta.
The programme, an initiative of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and the North Eastern Council (NEC), Shillong, seeks to promote “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” by fostering national integration, cultural understanding and mutual respect. Fully sponsored by DoNER and NEC, the initiative aims to provide 1,280 students (aged 15–29) from 28 non-NER States/UTs with structured 14-day exposure to the culture, geography and development journey of the North Eastern states.
Apart from classroom lectures on the eight states and the North East region as a whole, the delegates will also tour historical and culturally significant locations in Nagaland.
