Nagaland: Awareness programme on IPR at IDAN Kohima

The Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME, conducted a one-day awareness programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at the Innovation and Incubation Centre, IDAN, Kohima.
According to a press release from IDAN media cell, resource persons included IPFC Project Associate, Zabenthung Khuvung, who spoke on “Intellectual Property Rights and its Components”, and IPFC Legal Consultant, Imnasenla Jamir, who shared insights on “Infringement and Opposition”. Senior Consultant, IDAN, Anini Nyenga, in her special remarks, highlighted the rapid growth of entrepreneurship in the state and urged participants to leverage the platform for the protection and expansion of their businesses.
The programme was attended by entrepreneurs, start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs, who were provided information on registration services for all types of IPR facilitated by IDAN under the Ministry of MSME.
The release added that the initiative was part of IPFC’s ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovators in Nagaland, offering necessary assistance to commercialize their ventures.
