India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS), Notun Bosti, Dimapur, under its education wing—Libra Consultancy—conducted inspection of top medical and engineering colleges in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Tamil Nadu as part of its 17th annual activities held from January 11 to 24, 2026.
According to INTCWS chairman, Atsei Sekhose, the initiative was undertaken for the welfare and benefit of tribal students seeking professional studies outside the state. Since 2008, INTCWS has facilitated awareness among hundreds of students by providing verified information on colleges and universities with regard to affiliations, fees, courses, facilities and other essential details. The society stated that the activity was aimed at helping students and parents make informed decisions about higher education, particularly in view of increasing cases of fraudulent admissions in professional courses.
