Officials from the Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Nagaland—the nodal department for films in the state—led by deputy director Siewatho Nyusou, attended a meeting on the India Cine Hub (ICH) single-window portal for filming held at Akashvani Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi, on January 28, 2026.
According to DIPR report, in his opening address, secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Sanjay Jaju, highlighted the need to integrate all states into the ICH portal. He urged states and union territories to encourage big production houses to use the platform, noting that such participation could generate significant long-term economic benefits.
Jaju further stated that the portal would regulate and streamline online permissions and payments, and called upon states and union territories to bridge existing gaps by adopting the ICH single-window system.
The meeting, organised by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, provided an overview of the portal’s adoption and functioning, while facilitating coordination among relevant ministries, departments and state governments.
