Povozo Soho has been announced as the new president of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) for the tenure 2026-28. This was announced by nomination committee at the concluding day of the three-day long 79th general conference of CSU at Zuketsa in Phek district on February 5. Others in the executive council includes; vice president- Lindi Nienu, general secretary- Rhilo Chiero, assistant general secretary – Kekhroche Koza, treasurer- Surhulu Zholia, education secretary- Ruvekho Lüpo-o, social &culture secretary- Khove Dzüdo, games & sports secretary – Razunu D Vadeo and media secretary – Aveto Resu. Assembly Executives comprises of speaker- Wedo Khalo, deputy speaker-Vesuta Kezo and assembly secretary-Dr. Riweu Kenye.
