Nagaland: CBPs on export promotion held in Niuland & Tseminyu

Capacity building programmes for export promotion of agriculture and horticulture produce of Nagaland were conducted at Niuland and Tseminyu, bringing together farmers, entrepreneurs, and officials to strengthen awareness on export opportunities.
On February 5, the programme was held at Town City Hall, Niuland RD Block, organized by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in association with District Agriculture Office, Niuland. Around 60 participants attended, including officials from district administration, agriculture, horticulture, industries, NABARD, KVK, and district skill development office. Experts discussed schemes available for farmers and entrepreneurs, while APEDA representatives delivered presentations on export documentation, quality standards, and schemes. The programme was chaired by DAO Niuland, Thepusa Nakro.
On February 6, a similar programme was held at Town Hall, Tseminyu RD Block, organized by APEDA in association with District Agriculture Office, Tseminyu. A total of 91 participants attended, including officials from district administration, agriculture, horticulture, and SBI. Experts from APEDA spoke on the role of the authority in exports, documentation requirements, and quality maintenance, while district officials joined the discussion hour to clarify procedures for availing schemes.
Both programmes provided farmers and entrepreneurs with practical knowledge on export promotion, documentation, and quality standards, aiming to enhance Nagaland’s agricultural and horticultural produce in national and international markets.
