All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has expressed appreciation to the state government and the higher & technical education department for implementing the guidelines for registration and regulation of coaching centres in Nagaland on November 26, 2025, in line with the union’s long-standing demand to ensure better guidance, transparency, and support for students and aspirants.
In a press release, ANCSU president Kivika Yeptho and assistant general secretary Imnawabang T Lkr, however voiced serious concern over the delay in the registration of coaching institutes. The union pointed out that, as per the notified guidelines, all coaching centres were required to apply for registration within three months from the date of implementation.
Despite more than two months having passed since the guidelines came into effect, the union expressed disappointment that no coaching institute has registered to date.
In view of this, ANCSU has appealed to the higher & technical education department and the respective district administrations to expedite the registration process and ensure effective streamlining of coaching institutes across the state.
ANCSU also called upon all coaching centres to register at the earliest possible opportunity and to operate strictly in compliance with the prescribed guidelines.
ANCSU affirmed that it would remain vigilant on the matter and would not permit any unregistered coaching institute to function once the stipulated registration period expires.
