The final publication of the electoral roll for 28 Assembly Constituency (AC) Koridang, pursuant to the ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2026 with reference to the qualifying date of January 1, 2026, and in view of the forthcoming bye-election, was officially released on February 14.
According to a DIPR report, the final electoral roll for 28-Koridang AC under Mokokchung district has been published, with the total number of electors standing at 22,390. This includes 11,253 male electors, 11,013 female electors, and 124 service electors. The rolls can be viewed or downloaded from the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, at https://ceo.nagaland.gov.in or https://voters.eci.gov.in.
A meeting was also held on February 14 at the ADC’s Office Chamber, Mokokchung, attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer, representatives of recognized political parties, and election branch officials. The chair informed the gathering that the list of amendments to the final publication of the electoral roll had been duly prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and made available for public inspection.
During the meeting, the final electoral roll was formally released and copies in both hard and soft formats (without photographs) were handed over to representatives of political parties for their reference and necessary action. The chair requested political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLA) at the polling station level for effective coordination and smooth conduct of the electoral process, while seeking cooperation from all stakeholders for the successful, peaceful, and transparent conduct of the forthcoming bye-election.
Representatives of political parties acknowledged receipt of the rolls and assured their cooperation. The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring a free, fair, transparent, and inclusive electoral process.
