The 14Feb14Km Run, organised by Fusion Fitness, Ziekezou, in collaboration with Cabin V, was successfully held with the aim of promoting health and wellness among youth and the wider community on Saturday.
The run commenced from Fusion Fitness Gym, Ziekezou, proceeded to Cabin V, Chatsuogei, and returned to the gym, covering a total distance of 14 kilometres.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 50 runners, both male and female, including active members of Fusion Fitness and fitness enthusiasts from across the locality. Notably, the youngest participant was a 13-year-old boy.
The run was officially flagged off by Founder and CEO of Été Coffee, Lichan Humtsoe, who encouraged participants to dedicate their efforts to God’s glory and to live a life worth keeping.
Organisers highlighted that the initiative aimed to create greater awareness about physical fitness, discipline and community bonding. Participants expressed excitement and appreciation for the event, noting its importance in inspiring youth to prioritise health and wellness.
More than just a 14-kilometre run, the event stood as a celebration of health, unity and positive change within society, reinforcing the role of fitness in building stronger and healthier communities.
