National People’s Government of Nagaland (NPGN/NNC-MK) convened a meeting on February 9 with members of the Council of Cabinet and Tatar Hoho to deliberate on administrative consolidation and fiscal governance for the year ahead.
According to MIP secretary of the group, after thorough discussions, the house unanimously resolved to assign John Swu as finance kilonser and T. Chophy as deputy finance kilonser for the fiscal year 2026–2027.
The council cautioned that any individual or group engaging in financial contributions in the name of NPGN/NNC (MK) without proper authorization would do so at their own risk, and that it would not be held accountable for such activities. Reiterating its enduring commitment to the Naga political cause and the collective aspiration for freedom and self-determination, the NPGN appealed to individuals, well-wishers and business establishments to extend cooperation and support toward the ongoing struggle.
