NPF Mokokchung Division convened a consultative meeting with the party’s central leaders at the division office on February 14, where several pertinent issues concerning the party were discussed and deliberated.
The meeting adopted a number of resolutions, including endorsing the chief minister for being elected as the party president for the tenure 2025–2030. It further reaffirmed unflinching support to the dynamic leadership of NPF president and chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio. The division also congratulated the NPF-led PDA government under Rio’s leadership for signing the historic tripartite pact of FNTA. Another resolution reaffirmed support to Naga leaders in expediting the early resolution of the protracted Indo-Naga political issue with the Government of India. Resolutions were also passed to ensure smooth functioning and strengthening of the party at the divisional level. The meeting was attended by a host of COB officials led by senior vice president and COB in-charge Mokokchung division, N. Bendang Jamir, advisory board members, senior party leaders, and representatives of all frontal wings.
