ABAM WM holds motivational programme

DIMAPUR: Recognizing that ministry begins at home and that shared responsibilities between spouses are vital for effective church service, the ABAM Women Ministry (WM) organized a week-long motivational programme for Pastors’ wives at Delhi from February 11 to 16. Held under the theme “Organize our Kitchen” (Esther 4:16), the initiative—launched in 2025—aims to highlight the pivotal role of the family in shaping testimonies that strengthen the church. While earlier sessions targeted different groups, this year’s programme focused exclusively on Pastors’ wives, acknowledging their unique and demanding role in pastoral ministry.
Sessions emphasized balancing responsibilities across three spheres: The Home – nurturing and managing the family unit; The Marketplace – engaging with community life and Diverse Communities – navigating wider social environments.
The programme was led by ABAM WM secretary, T. Arenla Lkr, along with dedicated staff, who guided participants through spiritual, practical, and emotional wellbeing sessions.
ABAM expressed gratitude to Delhi Ao Baptist Church, Associate Pastor Meren, his team, and the congregation for their hospitality and logistical support.
Altogether, 68 members attended, including 64 Pastors’ wives representing 54 churches, along with four ABAM WM staff.
ABAM WM stated that empowering Pastors’ wives—like the biblical Esther—positions them strategically within communities to foster positive change and stability, ensuring that the home remains a strong foundation for public ministry.
