Tenyimi Youth Organisation (TYO) has expressed solidarity with the Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) in the wake of the “unfortunate incident” that occurred at Maova village.
In a press release, Tenyimi Youth Organisation president Khrozote Kapfo and general secretary Asungbe Hau affirmed its firm support for the Chakhroma Public Organisation in their pursuit of justice, peace, and truth.
TYO commended CPO for its consistent efforts to uphold communal harmony, unity, and social order in the region.
Starting that any form of violence, intimidation, or unlawful activities, the youth body said that such acts must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
The organisation appealed to the responsible authorities to carry out a fair, thorough, and time-bound investigation into the incident and ensure that those responsible were brought to justice without further delay.
TYO also urged all stakeholders to exercise maximum restraint, maintain peace, and refrain from any actions that could escalate tensions, thereby preserving the longstanding spirit of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence among communities.
Reaffirming its commitment, TYO expressed readiness to work collectively with all civil society organisations, including the CPO, to restore peace and ensure that justice prevails.
