BILL GATES PULLS OUT OF INDIA’S AI SUMMIT OVER EPSTEIN FILES CONTROVERSY

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office over allegations linked to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The arrest took place at the King’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where Andrew had been staying after moving out of Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate. Thames Valley Police confirmed searches at properties in Berkshire and Norfolk. Although the force did not initially name the suspect, it was later confirmed that the 66-year-old had been taken into custody.
In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, the King expressed his “deepest concern” and said “the law must take its course.” He stressed that the matter would be investigated fully and properly by the relevant authorities and declined further comment while the process is ongoing.
Allegations reportedly arise from emails released in the United States suggesting he shared official government reports from overseas visits with Epstein, who died in a New York prison in 2019.
Bill Gates pulls out of India’s AI summit: Separately, Bill Gates withdrew from delivering the keynote address at the India AI Impact Summit in Delhi. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said the decision followed “careful consideration” to keep the focus on the summit’s priorities.
Gates’ withdrawal comes after his name appeared in files released by the US Department of Justice in January relating to Epstein.
