Water supply disruption in Kohima

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed residents within Kohima municipal jurisdiction that water supply has been disrupted due to a mainline breakage near the LG Showroom at D Block.
The department cautioned that supply will remain temporarily affected in the coming days across several localities. According to DIPR report, areas impacted include Phoolbari, Midland, D Block, New Market, Naga Bazar, Kitsubozou, Kezekie, Themezie, L Khel, Krouliezou, Bayavü, High School, and the Secretariat Area.
PHED Kohima Urban Division SDO, Er. Ahito K. Awomi, informed the department was actively working to redress the issue at the earliest. Residents in the affected areas have been urged to bear with the temporary inconvenience, as all possible measures are being taken to complete repairs as soon as possible.
