The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur, is set to organise ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, an outreach and awareness programme at Holy Cross School Auditorium, Dimapur, today at 10 am. The initiative aims to strengthen stakeholder engagement, address grievances, and enhance awareness about EPFO schemes and digital services.
Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Dimapur, Samuel Das, along with enforcement officer Kallal Bhattacharjee and other officials, will personally hear grievances from workers, employers, and industry representatives. The session will also provide handholding support to employees and establishments requiring assistance in provident fund-related matters.
The programme will cover key areas including guidance on filing grievances through EPiGMS, CPGRAMS and other redressal portals. It will also focus on digital services and fraud prevention by educating stakeholders on e-nomination, online claim filing, KYC updates in UAN, and the Principal Employer Dashboard.
In addition, the session will highlight employee rights and employer responsibilities to ensure compliance with social security provisions such as provident fund, pension, and insurance benefits. A dedicated pension help desk will be set up to resolve pension-related grievances on the spot.
EPFO has urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives and industrial chambers to actively participate in the programme. Employers are encouraged to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from the first day of employment. Under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, workers in Nagaland are entitled to pension benefits and insurance coverage of up to Rs.7 lakh.
