Nagaland Government Teachers’ Association (NGTA) of 2010 & 2013 batches Friday announced that its protest would be intensified starting March 2, 2026 at Solidarity Park. NGTA comprising 2,293 teachers is demanding inclusion of their salary into the State Non-Development Expenditure.
NGTA through its media cell informed that second day of peaceful democratic protest was held at the directorate of school education, Kohima.
The protest was launched the government’s failure to respond positively to its seven-day ultimatum and after two-day pen down strike.
NGTA said they would continue to “take all measures till their demand is fulfilled in principle.”
Despite repeated representations and appeals, NGTA had said the government failed to address their demand.
