A Block Level Coordination Committee (BLCC)-cum-convergence camp was conducted on March 3 at the Council Hall of Khrimtomi village. The programme was organized by the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), RD Block Akuhaito.
During the BLCC meeting, an overview of the VPRP Entitlement Plan was presented by AC-SISD, Hukiye Chishi, while the Livelihoods Plan was shared by AC-Lds, Itokali G. Yeptho. The demands identified and captured by community cadres at the village level were placed before the officials of various line departments. The meeting emphasized the importance of convergence and coordinated efforts among departments to ensure effective realization of the community’s entitlements and livelihood aspirations.
Following the meeting, a convergence camp was organized where different line departments delivered services directly to SHG members and beneficiaries. Departments that actively participated included Land Resources, DHFW, UCO Bank, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK).
During the camp, coffee saplings, mixed vegetable seeds, and groundnut seeds were distributed to beneficiaries. Health check-ups and health card enrolments were conducted, while vaccination of livestock and distribution of poultry chicks were also carried out.
