Nagaland JD(U) welcomes Nishant to active politics

Janata Dal (United) Nagaland unit has welcomed Nishant Kumar on his formal entry into active politics, describing it as a significant moment for the party and a new chapter of leadership inspired by the ideals of party leader Nitish Kumar.
In a press release, State JD(U) president and MLA, Ar. Jwenga Seb, expressed optimism over Nishant Kumar’s political debut. He said the party warmly welcomed Nishant Kumar as he takes on the responsibility of advancing the party’s mission of developmental justice and national progress.
Seb stated that Nishant Kumar’s entry fulfils a long-held aspiration among party members who have been looking forward to his dynamic role in shaping the party’s future.
The party also expressed hope that Nishant Kumar’s youthful energy, thoughtful approach and forward-looking vision would bring renewed focus to the development and aspirations of the North Eastern region, particularly Nagaland.
The statement noted that Nagaland has been deeply inspired by the ideals of Jayaprakash Narayan, a pioneering figure associated with the party’s legacy, and expressed confidence that Nishant Kumar would honour this legacy while contributing to meaningful progress in the region.
On behalf of the State unit, the party congratulated Nishant Kumar as he begins his journey in public service and wished him good health and success, while assuring him of the party’s full support.
