PDFL 3.0: Lekie Mtei, Friends win

Lekie Mtei FC and Friends of Society secure victories in their respective matches in the third edition of the Peren District Football League (PDFL 3.0) on Tuesday at Jalukie.
In the first match, Lekie Mtei FC started aggressively, putting pressure on Mbaupunngwa FC’s defence. Their striker Aden netted the decisive goal in the 14th minute, which proved enough as Lekie Mtei held on to the slender lead to claim full points.
The second match witnessed Friends of Society dominate early against Poilwa FC. A well-timed pass from Gaichuipou set up Henkhohao, who scored in the 4th minute. Just two minutes later, a cross from Nehminlen was deflected into the net by Haominlen, giving Friends of Society a 2–0 lead.
Poilwa FC fought back and reduced the margin in the 36th minute when Rangliakum headed home a cross from Ngamminlun. Despite sustained pressure for an equalizer, Friends of Society’s defence held firm to secure a 2–1 victory.
