A new Advanced Water Treatment and LDI Technology aimed at promoting sustainable water management solutions was officially launched on Wednesday, here at Hotel Saramati.
The launching programme was organised by MSME Promotion Council of India – Nagaland Chapter, in collaboration with Neeb Aqua Scientific Systems Pvt. Ltd. as part of efforts to introduce innovative water treatment solutions across Nagaland and the Northeastern region.
Delivering the welcome address, State Chairman of MSME PCI Nagaland, Lanuakum Jamir, emphasised that water is the foundation of development and prosperity and pointed that despite water being a basic necessity, many cities across the country still struggle to access clean and safe drinking water.
Jamir further stated that the initiative was not merely the launch of a product but a broader vision to promote advanced water technologies in the Northeast, highlighting that the collaboration seeks to bring together innovation and sustainability while encouraging local entrepreneurship.
Pointing that MSMEs are the backbone of the nation’s economy, he noted that the introduction of the technology could create employment opportunities and encourage local entrepreneurs to engage in water-related solutions across the state.
The formal unveiling of the technology was carried out by Director, Neeb Aqua Scientific Systems Pvt. Ltd., Sanjjeev Seth, who highlighted the importance of safe drinking water for maintaining good health. He said that since the human body is composed of nearly 70 percent water, any imbalance caused by contaminated water can lead to various diseases.
According to him, the newly introduced system operates using a magnetic field rather than electricity, making it an energy-efficient technology designed to transform ordinary water into improved quality water suitable for various uses.
A detailed technology presentation and live demonstration were conducted by Director, Neeb Aqua Scientific Systems Pvt. Ltd., Ajay Kumar who explained the working mechanism and potential applications of the device.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Esther T. Ngullie and invocation offered by Pastor, Maongtoshi Longshir.
