Power shutdown in parts of Chümoukedima district

DIMAPUR, MAR 11 (NPN):

Power department has informed that there would be shutdown of 66kV Sovima-Chümoukedima, 66 KV Ganeslinagar Transmission Feeder starting March 12 to 14, 2026 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
In a press release, executive engineer, transmission division Dimapur, informed that the shutdown was being necessitated to execute vegetation clearance at Nagaland Zoological Park area, Rangapahar, Dimapur, and along the 66K V Transmission line.
During the shutdown period, the department informed that power supply to areas under 66/11kV Sovima, 66/33/11kV Chümoukedima and 66/33/11kV Ganeshnagar sub-stations would be affected.
Acknowledging inconvenience caused to the affected consumers, the department has sought cooperation from all.
