YCF backs Imchatobafor Koridang by-poll

The Yimlang Citizens’ Forum (YCF) of Mangmetong village has declared its full support for Imchatoba Imchen as the consensus candidate for the 28 Koridang by-election 2026.
In a press release, the forum said the decision was taken during a general public meeting held at Yimkong Salang on March 12, where members held a threadbare discussion and unanimously endorsed Imchen, who is the president of NPF Central Youth Wing and former president Naga Students Federation.
The forum also informed that Imsumongba, who was earlier an intending candidate from the same village, officially withdrew from the electoral race on March 5 and extended his full support to Imchen in order to strengthen unity among the people.
Expressing confidence in Imchen’s leadership and commitment to the rights of the people, the forum said he was best suited to represent the aspirations of the people of 28 Koridang.
It further appealed to all citizens of the constituency to unite and extend wholehearted support to Imchen for the greater interest and future of the people.
