NIT Nagaland to host workshop on Research Grants and Ethics

DIMAPUR:

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland will host a specialized academic workshop on “Proposal Writing, Research Grant Management and Research Ethics in Science and Technology” on March 21, 2026.
Sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, under the PAIR initiative, the programme aims to equip researchers with critical skills in scientific funding and institutional integrity.
Experts from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, the hub institution for this collaboration, will lead the sessions. Faculty members from IISc’s Department of Materials Engineering, including Professors Satyam Suwas, Vikram Jayaram, Suryasarathi Bose, Praveen Kumar, T.A. Abinandanan, Ashok Raichur, Abhik Choudhury and Sai Gautam Gopalakrishnan, will deliver lectures. They will be joined by Dr. Rohit Kumar H.G., Grants Manager, Office of Research Grants, IISc, to provide technical insights into professional grant administration.
The workshop will be inaugurated by NIT Nagaland Director, A. Elayaperumal, at the institute’s Video Conference Hall. Interested participants may register through the online portal available on the institute’s website.
