LevelUp Northeast 2026, a platform focused on gaming, esports and digital innovation, will be held on March 28-29 at Agri Expo, Dimapur.
The event is being organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Indian Digital Gaming and Esports Society (IDGES), with support from the Department of Industries & Commerce and Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland.
Positioned as the region’s first dedicated esports and digital transformation platform, the event will feature an AVGC-XR and gaming expo showcasing studios, emerging technologies and immersive media innovations.
A major highlight will be the Indian Super Gaming League (ISGL), launched by Lets Game Now, aimed at creating a structured pathway from grassroots qualifiers to national-level recognition. The league will include nationwide qualifiers, with the grand finale proposed in Visakhapatnam and a prize pool of Rs. 50 lakh per game.
The programme will also host esports tournaments across multiple platforms, including titles such as Call of Duty, EA Sports FC 26, Cricket 26 and Chess, offering participants opportunities for competition, mentorship and exposure to industry experts.
Other key components include masterclasses and skill sessions on game development and emerging technologies, a job fair connecting youth with companies in gaming and digital media, and an industry-academia roundtable involving institutions such as the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT). A Sketch-Up digital art competition will also be organised to promote creative expression. The event aims to foster collaboration among industry, government, startups and academia while opening career avenues for youth in the region’s growing digital and esports ecosystem.
