NWA gears up for Olympic & Paralympic Games

DIMAPUR, Mar 17 (NPN):

The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) convened an emergency General Body Meeting at Talimeren Hall, Nagaland Olympic Association office complex, Kohima, to deliberate on preparations for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2026. Officials from nine district Wushu associations attended the meeting, which resolved to urge all affiliated units to participate actively in the Games and select the best athletes to represent Nagaland in the Northeast Games 2026. The body also decided to conduct a technical session to train and equip technical personnel for the smooth conduct of competitions. In a significant development, two new districts—Tseminyu District Wushu Association and Niuland District Wushu Association—were formally inducted into the NWA, bringing the total number of affiliated district associations to 14. The Association emphasized the importance of identifying athletes at a young age and grooming them towards professionalism. Members present expressed gratitude to president of the Nagaland Wushu Association and Advisor, CAWD & Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, for his continued support and guidance.
