KMC chairperson, dy. chairperson election on Mar 30

Election for the posts of chairperson and deputy chairperson of Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) would be held on March 30, at 2pm in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner Kohima. The meeting has been convened by DC Kohima, following approval from the state government and in accordance with provisions of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023. All elected councillors of KMC have been directed to attend the meeting without fail. It has been informed that quorum requirements, as laid down under the Act, would be strictly observed.
