NCC cadets undertake cleanliness drive at Dimapur railway station

In alignment with the national Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), the 24 Nagaland Battalion NCC unit of Salesian College (SCHE) organised a Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) programme aimed at promoting hygiene and sanitation around the Railway Station in Dimapur. The initiative began with a brief orientation provided by the caretaker officer.
A total of 26 NCC cadets participated under the guidance of the Caretaker Officer (CTO).
The ‘Pick Up for Cleanliness’ drive underscored the NCC’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. By extending their mission beyond the college campus and focusing on public landmarks such as the railway station, the cadets illustrated the importance of collective voluntary efforts in achieving a cleaner environment.
