(NIDC), organized a four-day technology clinic on Waste-to-Resource Technologies the Rising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme with technical support by Nagaland Tool & Training Centre (NTTC).
The programme was held at Nagaland Tool & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur from March 19 to 24 and brought together 53 entrepreneurs in two batches.
Coordinated by Er. Awalo Keppen with trainers in-charge, Kuzhosheto Rhakho, Repachiba, and Richo Nangthe Kro, the clinic offered hands-on exposure to innovative machinery and sustainable technologies including plastic segregation and crushing technology, plastic-aggregate composite paver block production, sawdust briquette for biomass energy solutions, and stone dust-cement block manufacturing techniques.
The initiative not only highlighted practical approaches to waste-to-resource conversion but also underscored the potential of eco-friendly industrial practices to empower local entrepreneurs, strengthen MSMEs, and promote sustainable development in the region.
The initiative played a crucial role in supporting post COVID-19 recovery efforts, enabling entrepreneurs and MSMEs in Nagaland to adopt emerging technologies and modernize their businesses to remain competitive in an evolving economic landscape.
