Dimapur Marwari Premier League Season-4 concludes

The Marwari Premier League Season-4, organized by Marwari Yuva Manch Dimapur Shikhar with the support of the Onkarmal Agarwal Foundation, concluded on Monday at DDSC Ground, Golaghat Road, Dimapur.
The grand finale saw Current Riders crowned champions, defeating Vanar Sena, who finished as runners-up. The event was marked by vibrant celebrations, dignitary presence and enthusiastic participation from the community.
The evening began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by distinguished guests, including Col Mohit Bansal (SM Commandant, 9AR), BJP Nagaland leaders Mahesh Kotecha and Chandu Agarwal, and secretary of the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sanjay Sethi. Event Convenor Bhagirath Ojha welcomed attendees, while sponsors and supporters were felicitated for their contributions. The organizing committee expressed gratitude to sponsors such as Kiran Sports (trophy), Silver Ply (jersey), Breton (commentary box), Maa Furnishing (bat and stump), Athletes Paradise (ball), Radheshyam Agarwal (water), and Rajkumar Prajapat (ground materials), alongside team owners.
Guests praised the arrangements and highlighted the importance of sports in fostering fitness and energy across all age groups. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by the toss and final match. In the awards ceremony, Sikku Bakliwal was named Man of the Series and Man of the Match; Piyush Jain received Best Batsman; Shanky Jain was awarded Best Bowler; Pawan Daga won Best Wicketkeeper; and Vijay Sharma was recognized as Best Fielder.
The celebration ended with fireworks, marking the successful conclusion of the tournament. The event was conducted under the supervision of Convenor Bhagirath Ojha, Co-convenors Rishikesh Sharma, Mohit Sharma and Shubham Murarka, with Sports Coordinator Yogesh Gupta.
The finale witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities, community leaders, sponsors, players and youth members, making Season-4 of the Marwari Premier League a memorable sporting spectacle for Dimapur.
