A meeting of Heads of Offices (HoOs) under Tening Sub-Division, Peren was held at the ADC’s office chamber, Tening on March 27 , under the chairmanship of EAC Tening, Ihoilung Chuilo.
According to DIPR report, all the departments presented brief reports highlighting their ongoing activities and the functioning of their respective offices within the sub-division during the meeting.
Discussions were also held in carrying out DPDB adoption activities at CHC Tening and GHSS Tening. The house also decided to conduct hands-on training programmes on water testing, tree sapling plantation, and other related developmental projects.
Officials from GHSS Tening highlighted various grievances faced by the school, particularly the need for improving facilities such as proper electricity supply and school fencing.
The house further resolved to organize an inter-departmental tournament in the month of April 2026 to promote coordination and camaraderie among departments.
The EAC also urged the police department to strictly monitor and curb illegal logging, particularly the movement of round logs at the check gate, stating that such activities are tarnishing the image of the sub-division. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from the chair.
