ANPSA Dimapur marks 25 yrs with Basketball showdown

The All Nagaland Private School Association (ANPSA) Dimapur Unit concluded its 25th anniversary basketball tournament on March 27, with the closing ceremony held at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The event was graced by Colo Mero, director of Life Ministries (Sports & Business Mission), as guest of honour, and Shah Jamanuddin Ahmed, FIBA Level 1 Coach, as special guest. Both lauded the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork displayed throughout the tournament.
In the boys’ final, Greenwood Higher Secondary School defeated Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, while in the girls’ final Don Bosco Higher Secondary School triumphed over Greenwood Higher Secondary School.
Hyulozu Khing (Greenwood HSS) was adjudged MVP in the boys’ category, while Mehrin Beck (Don Bosco HSS) was named MVP in the girls’ category.
Neisavinuo, general secretary of ANPSA Dimapur Unit, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of participants, organizers, and supporters. The ceremony concluded with a prayer by Noktentemjen Aier, Co-Convenor of the Basketball Organizing Committee.
In a symbolic gesture, the tournament flag was lowered by Bithungo Kikon, convenor of the Organizing Committee, and handed over to Vidhya Bhawan Higher Secondary School, which will host the upcoming Badminton Tournament.
