A convergence camp-cum-enrollment drive was conducted at the Village Council Hall, Phesama, Kohima on March 28. The programme was organised by the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), BMMU, RD Block Jakhama.
According to DIPR report, EAC Kezocha, Limakumla Pongener, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of convergence initiatives and encouraging community participation in various government schemes for sustainable livelihood development.
Resource persons from RD Block Jakhama, veterinary department, and health & family welfare department shared valuable insights on schemes and services available for the rural community.
The programme was chaired by Sokhrienuo Rüpre-o, area coordinator, SI/SD, NSRLM BMMU, RD Block Jakhama, while the invocation was pronounced by Lasono Sileo, President, Viko VLO, Phesama Village.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Kuvono Yhoshu, Gender Community Resource Person, Gender Resource Centre, Jakhama.
The event was followed by refreshments and an enrollment drive, where participants were registered to avail benefits under different government programmes.
