Issues for Nagaland public to address

Issues to be addressed collectively by the citizens of Nagaland :-

  1. Economic condition – The State is completely dependent on the Central Government for lìvelihood and survival. In no sector, are we self sufficient due to endemic systems failure. Welfare Schemes aimed to alleviate the economic plight of its citizens are outrightly and blatantly misused and exploited by the concern agencies. This exploitation has led to unfair practices both by the perpetrators and the victims alike.
  2. Political confusion – During the inception of Nagaland as a State , into the Union of India , the special provisions enshrined were suppose to be acted upon and legislated as legal document in a phased manner, which , either due to oversight or ignorance, took a back seat. The need to derive those special provisions into individual legal documents clause by clause is the need of the hour. Adoption as well as derivatives.
When the State has so much of potential yet suffers to make ends meet, there is a need for collective awakening & act on it.
  3. The society is highly influenced by rhetorics and Tribalism. Symbolism and out dated practices are forcibly invoked in all aspects of daily life. A sort of paralysis to strive for a better community while embracing change positively has set in. Almost expecting a miracle to happen without doing one’s part.
What is within us, which is achievable and surmountable, if we wish to :-
  4. Identify common problems and start to act upon it gradually but Act.
  5. Expose malpractices by agencies in charge of citizens welfare through positive use of Social media platforms.
  6. Contribute without selfish motive towards collective betterment of life.
  7. Start de – addiction drive of crass social media indulgence in every home.
  8. Tell all younger people to own their communities with a sense of purpose.
It is not too late NAGALAND
    From a fellow citizen.
