Ministry of Information & Publicity, GPRN/NSCN (U), under the leadership of M.B. Neokpao Konyak and Alezo Venuh has, issued a directive concerning the conduct of members and workers of the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) in view of the forthcoming by-election to the 28th Koridang Assembly Constituency in Mokokchung district, scheduled for April 9, 2026.
The directive issued by Kilonser, Huvito Yepthomi, Ministry of Kilo Affairs, has strictly instructed its members to refrain from engaging in political campaigning or activities under the banner of GPRN/NSCN (U). However, individual members may exercise their voting rights in a personal capacity.
The group cautioned that any contravention of this directive would invite disciplinary action. Village administrations have been urged to remain vigilant and report any violations. The organization assured that such matters would be dealt with seriously and responsibly.
The directive comes as part of efforts to maintain neutrality and uphold discipline during the electoral process.
