KBPF to hold Resurrection Sunday sunrise service

Kohima Baptist Pastors Fellowship (KBPF) has announced that it will hold Resurrection Sunday Sunrise service at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) at 5:00 am on April 5.
A press release by KBPF informed that the message will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Ruokuovilie Sachü, president, KBPF, while Wongtokiu, vice president, KBPF, will lead the programme.
Rev. Dr. Benry Lotha, senior pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Kohima, will pronounce the invocation, while Rev. M. Nahngom, pastor of Konyak Baptist Church Kohima, will pronounce the benediction.
The pianist for the service will be Sangpelong Chuba, pianist, Chang Baptist Lashong Kohima, while James Swu, choir director of Sumi Baptist Church Kohima, will serve as the cantor.
The opening hymn will be “Christ the Lord is Risen Today” and the closing hymn will be “Christ Arose.”
For the Bible reading, Jenthailung Kamei, pastor of Rongmei Baptist Church, will read the Old Testament, while Narayan, pastor of Bethel Masha Church, will read the New Testament.
Special choir presentations will be presented by Kohima Phom Baptist Church and Sumi Baptist Church Kohima.
The worship leader will be Visato Yhoshü, pastor, UBC, while the ushers will be from the Kohima Baptist Youth Fellowship.
As in previous years, when hundreds of believers gather for worship, KBPF has invited all to come and take part in this year’s programme, looking forward to a fruitful and meaningful fellowship.
