College of Nursing District Hospital Dimapur held its 9th GNM Graduation cum Lt. Mrs. Ketsovole Kire’s 23rd award ceremony on April 2 at 11 am Chapel Hall DHD.
Altogether 33 GNM students graduated this year from CON.DHD. In place of Dr. Mereninla Senlem Principal Director(PD) DoH&FW Nagaland, Dr.Kheleto Zhimomi Joint Director read out the PD’s message.
In her message, Dr. Mereninla Senlem encourage the GNM graduates to work willingly wherever they are posted and be a beacon of light with compassion and care. Family members of Lt. Mrs. Ketsovole Kire awarded the 23rd award to Chubamenla Jamir
Since 2002, Lt. Mrs. Ketsovole Kire Award has been awarded to GNM students in Nagaland in recognition of academic excellence by her family members. Former Director General of Police (DGP) Nagaland K.Kire spoke on the occasion and shared that this award is a legacy of his mother to encourage the GNM students to excel in their practice, skill and knowledge.
The programme was chaired by Molungnenla Imchen asst prof. CON DHD which was started with an invocation prayer by Vitoni Chophy, welcome address by Dr. George Thirah Medical Superintendent DHD.
Guest and delegates were acknowledged by Toshisela Nursing Suptd DHD. Special song was presented by Chubainla and Shesulu 3rd yr GNM students, graduation ceremony was conducted by Bendangnaro Dy.Director Nursing H&FW after which Rev. Yhunlo Thong Chaplain DHD prayed for the graduates.
A short speech was given by the awardee Chubamenla Jamir. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Bendangsangla .R Principal School of Nursing. DHD and concluded with a mass prayer.
