Wisdom Stop library inaugurated at Tetheyu Village under Kiphire district

A dedication ceremony for “Wisdom Stop” community library was held on April 4 at Tetheyu Village under Kiphire district. The initiative, spearheaded by Apiba A. in partnership with Longtili C., aims to promote a culture of reading, provide resources for aspirants, and enhance the beauty of the village.
The programme was chaired by youth pastor Tsiphu. Short speeches were delivered by Longtili C., founder of Akehda Amulung, and Tethsolen, chairman of Tetheyu Village Council.
In his address, Longtili C. expressed joy in being part of Apiba’s vision. He noted that although the library is small, it will serve a significant purpose. Appreciating the strong community spirit of Tetheyu Village, he encouraged villagers to continue fostering unity. He assured his continued support and investment for the growth of the library, noting that the opening of ‘Wisdom Stop’ marks a new beginning where young minds will flourish and knowledge will guide the future.
Though Apiba A. could not attend the programme, his message was shared. He stated that the primary purpose of establishing the library is to create a reading culture, support aspirants with books, and contribute to the beautification of the village. He thanked all donors for their support and expressed special gratitude to his father for helping construct the building. He explained that Wisdom Stop means “Place of Wisdom” (Lumlong).
Tethsolen, chairman of Tetheyu Village Council, remarked that “the pen always wins the world” and appreciated Longtili C.’s contribution to the village. He also thanked Apiba A. for initiating such a meaningful project and expressed hope that the library will serve future generations.
The programme concluded with an act of dedication and prayer led by Longtsaba, pastor of TBL, followed by refreshments.
