Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has applauded Dimapur Police for apprehending two absconding accused involved in the heinous highway crime case reported in July 2024.
According to NWHD, the arrest of the accused through a coordinated operation in Bengaluru, carried out in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Police, reflects the professionalism, efficiency, and commitment of the Dimapur Police. The breakthrough, it stated, was a testament to their dedication in ensuring justice and safeguarding the dignity and security of citizens, particularly women.
NWHD extended special appreciation to the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, and the entire team for their strategic efforts, timely action, and effective use of technical intelligence in tracking down the accused beyond state boundaries. It noted that such determined action sends a strong message that perpetrators of crimes will be brought to justice irrespective of where they attempt to hide.
The Hoho also acknowledged the importance of inter-state coordination in tackling organised criminal networks and appreciated the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies in this regard.
Further, NWHD supported the appeal made by Dimapur Police to the public to come forward with information on similar crimes and encouraged citizens to actively cooperate in maintaining law and order.
