SCC concludes 50th annual sports meet

Sao Chang College, Tuensang, wrapped up its landmark 50th Annual Sports Meet on April 9 at the Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang following three days of spirited competition under the theme “Beyond Victory, Towards Excellence.”
The event, which began on April 7, saw enthusiastic participation from four houses—Red Hawks, Thunderbolts, Titans and Dominators—each showcasing discipline, athletic skill and strong team spirit.
In the overall standings, Titans emerged as champions, followed by Thunderbolts in second place, Red Hawks in third, while Dominators secured the fourth position.
Across the three days, a wide range of track and field events along with indoor games kept the energy high, drawing support from both students and faculty. The competitions were marked by healthy rivalry and camaraderie among the teams.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Adjutant of 3rd NAP, Tuensang, I. Bunglang Chang, as guest of honour. In his address, he encouraged students to pursue excellence with perseverance and uphold the values of sportsmanship.
